Elected in November 2023, Teddy Errico is your Mayor of the Town of Telluride until his four year term ends in 2027. The Town of Telluride is a home-rule municipality. The Mayor and six council members are elected for four-year terms. The Mayor and Town Council members do not have offices at Town Hall. All of these elected positions are considered part-time.

Additionally, as the former owner of the Telluride Cajun Festival, he blended vibrant cultural elements with world-class entertainment. Teddy For Telluride. Teddy For Town.

Teddy Errico is a 28-year Telluride local who has spent the majority of time living within the town of Telluride. His love for the Mountains, Main Street, Town Park, and this overall community is certainly unmatched.

Teddy moved here in 1996 to finish his Graduate Degree by working for the Telluride Ski and Golf Company and was only supposed to be here for six months. Once he fell in love with Telluride, no amount of Student Loan and Credit Card debt could drive him away! So, his Box Canyon journey began.

You probably have seen Teddy on his cruiser bike in town, riding down Milk Run for après ski, playing softball in the greatest Park in North America, watching great music at Telluride Blues and Brews Festival, or just watching the world go by on Main Street. A philanthropist at heart, he also believes in giving back to the community. He is a Telluride Parks and Recreation Commission volunteer, overseeing the department, and a Telluride Jazz Festival Board Member. Teddy formerly served as a long-time board member, President of the Telluride LizardHead Hockey Club, and Head Coach.

He donates his time and financial resources to various local nonprofits that are the very fabric of Telluride, including a High School scholarship, first-time homebuyer’s fund, and KOTO-FM, to name a few.

Now it is time to give back to Telluride by being your Mayor.

A full-time local Realtor for LIV Sotheby’s International Realty since 1999, Teddy’s job allows him the flexibility to contribute to the fabric of this cherished community. In addition, he is the producer of a free concert series in Mountain Village, which spans nine weeks and features world-class talent. Teddy holds a Master's Degree in Education/Sports Management from Temple University and earned his Bachelor's in Marketing from Boston College.
